2012 NFL Mock Draft: Which Teams Will Address Alarming Needs?
The 2012 NFL Combine has come and gone, but teams' most pressing needs have not changed.
It remains to be seen which franchises will fill their biggest holes via the draft and which will take the best available player.
Here are a few teams that should be looking to address need in the draft.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Indianapolis Colts (2-14): Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
Luck is going to be a star, but if Peyton Manning is healthy, you cannot call this a need pick.
2. St. Louis Rams (4-12): Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
The Rams definitely need a receiver, so why not take the best one on the board by far?
Blackmon is a monster, and the best part is that they can trade out of this pick and most likely will.
St. Louis is in line to receive a number of draft picks in return for this position and can afford to take Blackmon a few selections later.
3. Minnesota Vikings (3-13): Matt Kalil, OT, USC
Minnesota needs a bit of everything, but Kalil is a great fit.
4. Cleveland Browns (2-14): Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
If you don’t have a franchise quarterback, you are looking for one.
The Colts simply don’t have their guy and Colt McCoy isn’t the answer.
Look for them to try like hell to swap this pick and their later first-rounder, plus whatever else they may be asked of, in order to get the Rams pick and select RGIII.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-12): Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
Incredible RB and an upgrade, but isn’t a major need with LeGarrette Blount still in town.
6. Washington Redskins (5-11): Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
This monstrous reach is the definition of drafting to fill a hole rather than taking the best available.
There is a ton of talent still left on the board, but the Redskins direly need a signal-caller to build around.
If Tannehill somehow goes in the top 10, you can bet it will be to the ‘Skins.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11): Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
Jacksonville gets the best defensive player in the draft, but it’s not their worst position.
8. Miami Dolphins (6-10): Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
Miami would love a franchise QB, but they simply cannot get one at No. 8. Reiff is a great consolation prize.
9. Carolina Panthers (6-10): Quinton Coples, DE, UNC
Carolina will be rebuilding around Cam Newton for a few years, so they can take a shot on a high-upside guy like Coples.
10. Buffalo Bills (6-10): Courtney Upshaw, DE/OLB, Alabama
Upshaw will immediately help the Bills’ pass-rush.
11. Kansas City Chiefs (7-9): Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College
Kuechly looks like a franchise MLB that will be around the NFL for years.
12. Seattle Seahawks (7-9): Melvin Ingram, DE/OLB, South Carolina
Seattle has to choose between drafting a pass-rusher or selecting someone like Ingram here.
13. Arizona Cardinals (8-8): Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
This big OT will help Arizona’s running game get better.
14. Dallas Cowboys (8-7): David DeCastro, OG, Stanford
The Cowboys are a complete team, but their line is holding them back.
If they select the best interior lineman in the draft, they’ll definitely be addressing a major problem.
DeCastro will help them in the running game and allow Tony Romo more time to find his excellent receivers down the field.
15. Philadelphia Eagles (8-8): Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Great complementary receiver to DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin.
16. New York Jets (8-8): Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia
New York’s biggest problem is chemistry, but the run game is atrocious, too. Glenn helps fix the latter.
17. Cincinnati Bengals (via OAK 8-8): Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
If you watched T.J. Yates pick apart Pacman Jones and the Bengals secondary in the postseason, you know this team needs a new cornerback.
They have a great upcoming QB in Andy Dalton and a solid number of weapons on offense.
Now they need a guy like Kirkpatrick, who has top-10 talent, to come in and shore up the coverage on D.
18. San Diego Chargers (8-8): Nick Perry, DE/OLB, USC
Perry is an athletic freak who could become a legitimate sack machine for the Bolts.
19. Chicago Bears (8-8): Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State
Chicago’s line is terrible and Adams helps to improve it.
20. Tennessee Titans (9-7): Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
Brockers needs time to develop, but his raw skills are out of this world.
21. Cincinnati Bengals (9-7): Lamar Miller, RB, Miami
Miller would be a great addition if Cincy opts to let Cedric Benson leave town.
22. Cleveland Browns (via ATL 10-6): David Wilson, RB, Virginia Tech
Wilson is a great RB and the Browns could use him, but they’ll likely flip this pick.
23. Detroit Lions (10-6): Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
Jenkins had a great combine and is a top-tier corner prospect, but his off-the-field issues are hamstringing his draft position. Could be a steal here.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4): Devon Still, DT, Penn State
Pitt will not allow for the Nittany Lions’ NFL-ready DT to fall further.
25. Denver Broncos (8-8): Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
Extremely pliable DL player who will bolster the Broncos front.
26. Houston Texans (10-6): Mark Barron, S, Alabama
Houston must continue to work on their secondary and Barron is the best safety in this class.
27. New England Patriots (via NO 13-3): Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
Bill Belichick is hoping that Wright can become a No. 1 receiver if he makes this pick.
28. Green Bay Packers (15-1): Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska
Dennard will straight-up jam people on the line, but his coverage is questionable as of right now. Definitely a luxury pick for the Pack.
29. Baltimore Ravens (12-4): Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin
Baltimore needs to add youth to their LB corps, but Konz is too much value to pass up at 29.
30. San Francisco 49ers (13-3): Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina
Jeffery has a lot of red flags, but his upside is incredible.
31. New England Patriots (13-3): Harrison Smith, S, Notre Dame
Anyone could help the NE secondary right now.
32. New York Giants (9-7): Dwayne Allen, TE, Clemson
The Giants' weakest position gets a boost here.
