WWE News: WWE Officials Reportedly Impressed by Chris Jericho and Kofi Kingston
You’ve probably noticed two Monday Night Raw stars who have found themselves in the spotlight pretty often in 2012.
I’m talking about Chris Jericho, who’s heading to WrestleMania 28 for a WWE Championship match, and Kofi Kingston, who’s been involved in a number of show-stealing spots over the last couple of months.
After seeing the way those two have been pushed recently, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that WWE officials are high up on both of them at the moment.

"Chris Jericho and Kofi Kingston have been receiving high marks backstage for their recent series of matches at RAW live events.

We can all tell that Jericho is going to be highlighted as a top superstar on Raw, as he should be. But what’s interesting about this is that the WWE brass has finally taken notice of Kingston.
The high-flying superstar has performed incredibly well as of late. He really stood out during Raw’s Elimination Chamber match, and of course, he had that unforgettable handstand spot in this year’s Royal Rumble.
Kofi is undoubtedly getting highlighted as of late, and as a big Kingston fan, I love it. I’m just not sure where it’s gonna go.
Ever since Kingston’s push in late 2009 ended (allegedly because of Randy Orton), Kingston has been stuck in basically the same spot on the card. He’s a reliably baby face who performs well in the midcard scene, but can be used in the main event when need be.
Truth be told, though, he hasn’t really been given much of an opportunity to make it back to the main event in the last two-plus years. But he definitely deserves one.
Kingston has really stepped up his game in recent months, and with both Raw and SmackDown desperately in need of some fresh top baby faces, he could and perhaps even should be the guy who gets elevated.
I wouldn’t bet more than five bucks or so on it actually happening, though.
