WWE News: The Rock Reportedly Wrestling at WrestleMania 29
John Cena has openly criticized The Rock for coming and going from the WWE, saying that the “People’s Champ” has gone back on his vow to “never” leave the WWE again.
There’s been plenty of merit to what Cena’s said, as The Rock has certainly been around a lot less than we thought he would.
However, Cena might want to get used to The Rock’s sporadic WWE appearances because it looks like the man now known as Dwayne Johnson might be bringing it for another year or more.

From PWTorch.com (via SEScoops.com):
"During WWE’s press conference to announce that WrestleMania XXIX would be held in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, April 7, 2013, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson vowed to appear at the event and “electrify MetLife Stadium like never before.”
Sources within WWE have confirmed to the Pro Wrestling Torch that Johnson will be competing at the event.
"
Wow, now there’s a shocker.
Although it’s not surprising that being back around the business has caused The Rock to want to stick around, I thought that WrestleMania 28 would definitely be the last time we saw him compete. However, this report that he might wrestle again at WrestleMania 29—more than a year from now—changes a lot of things.
Perhaps most importantly, this news could drastically alter the outcome of the WrestleMania 28 main event between The Rock and Cena.
Most fans seem to be convinced that Cena is going to win the match, but if The Rock really is going to stick around for another year, that might not be a given. The WWE could use the momentum of Rock’s Mania win to have him compete at SummerSlam, Survivor Series, WrestleMania or some combination of all three.
What makes matters even more is interesting is the possibility of The Rock losing/winning and then facing Cena in a rematch at next year’s WrestleMania, or perhaps even a best two-out-of-three series.
We simply just don’t know what’s going to happen with The Rock and whether or not he’s going to end up shocking the world by staying in the WWE until 2013.
While I think the chances of him returning full-time are slim to none, it’s crazy to even consider the possibility of more than one match left from the most electrifying man in sports entertainment.
