WWE News: Report on When the Undertaker Will Reveal His New Haircut
The Undertaker got his wish on this week’s Raw when Triple H agreed to face him in a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 28.
What Undertaker didn’t do, however, was take off his hoodie. During his entire 20-minute promo exchange with Triple H, Taker’s head remained covered, and we all know that he did so because he no longer has the long hair we’ve grown accustomed to.
During his hiatus from the ring, Taker shaved his head bald, and after having him wear that awful wig upon his return a few weeks ago, WWE officials apparently decided to turn his bad hairdo into a storyline.
Taker was shown cutting his “hair” (although it was really a wig) in a promo video, and it looks like we’re going to have wait a while to see his new look.
"The Undertaker appeared on Monday’s Raw SuperShow and did not remove the hood covering his head. WWE officials plan to have the iconic wrestler remove his hood and display his bald head for the first time when he faces Triple H in a Hell in a Cell Match at WrestleMania XXVIII.
"
I’ve always been a bigger fan of The Undertaker’s longer hair because I think it only adds to his “Deadman” character, but I think it’ll be interesting to see how he looks completely bald if that’s indeed what happens.
To be honest, Taker’s hairdo doesn’t really have a big effect on the match itself, but I like how the creative team turned a problem (the terrible wig) into a storyline by having Taker cut his wig off in the video.
It’s as if he was so tormented by his match with Triple H at WrestleMania 27 that he went a little psychotic and chopped off his signature long locks.
Not only does this add a little more intrigue to the current feud between Taker and Triple H, but it should provide us with a fun moment when The Phenom reveals his new look much to the shock of the casual and younger fans in the crowd at this year's WrestleMania.
And don’t worry, guys. Even without his long hair, The Undertaker is still The Undertaker, not The American Badass.
