Magic vs. Heat: Video Highlights, Twitter Reaction and Grades
The Miami Heat rolled in Round 2 of the "Sunshine State Showdown" Sunday, picking apart the visiting Orlando Magic, 90-78.
Dwight Howard and company looked listless and lifeless at AmericanAirlines Arena, less than two weeks removed from a commanding 102-89 win that saw Superman string together another 20-20 effort.
The victory extended the Heatles' win streak to six games and moved their overall record to 25-7, the best in the NBA this season. As for the Magic, the loss snapped a four-game win streak and dropped their mark to 20-12.
Tweets of the Night
As removed from it all as Dwight Howard may seem, at least he's trying to stay connected to his teammates...right?
"Oh, that's nice. Dwight Howard and Jameer share a pregame handshake. They should change it to Howard miming throwing him under a bus.
— Hardwood Paroxysm (@HPbasketball) February 19, 2012"
No Miami Heat game recap would be complete without a tweet about LeBron's infamous receding hairline.
"Lebron James & Joel Anthony have the same barber.
— Grandad (@GrandadJFreeman) February 19, 2012"
And a quip about LeBron playing in the fourth quarter, courtesy of Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.
"LeBron playing in the fourth quarter for the first time in what seems like forever. Should he get time-and-a-half for that?

Must-See Highlight
As long as we're talking about staples of the Heat's game, why not include the most entertaining tidbit of all?
That's right, folks—another long-distance alley-oop connection between LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, this one coming in the first quarter.
Grades for Key Magic Players
Dwight Howard: B-
Surprise, surprise: As Dwight Howard goes, so go the Magic.
Unfortunately for Orlando, DH12 wasn't going as well on Sunday as he was the last time these two teams met, when he piled up 25 points, 24 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks.
Not that a stat line of 12 points, 15 rebounds and three assists is anything to snub your nose at, though the Magic will almost always need a better game than that from their biggest star to beat good teams.
Ryan Anderson: D
Of course, Howard can't do it all by himself on any night. He needs the rest of the Magic's scorers, including Ryan Anderson, to lend a helping hand from the outside.
Anderson did no such thing on this particular day, accounting for just nine points and six rebounds, well below his season averages of 16.8 points and 7.2 rebounds a game.
Grades for Key Heat Players
LeBron James: A
You know you're having a great season—nay, a historic season—when approaching a triple-double becomes ho-hum, been-there-done-that sort of thing.
That's becoming the case for LeBron James, who poured in 25 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and two steals in the Heat's big victory.
Love him or hate him, there's no denying that James is an absolute marvel to watch, as he was against the Magic on Sunday.
Dwyane Wade: A
But let's not forget about Dwyane Wade, the original Heat superstar. Wade added 27 points of his own, including 19 in the first half, to go along with six rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks.
With efforts like these, Miami can easily withstand an eight-point, nine-rebound afternoon from Chris Bosh, who might be the most expensive "third wheel" in NBA history.
Deciding Factor: Star Power
Simply put, Miami's Big Three dominated Orlando's man in the middle. James, Wade and Bosh combined to score 60 of the Heat's 90 points, while Howard, not exactly a noted scorer in his own right, received scant support from the Magic's cast of shooters, who hit just 22 of 64 shots.
Stat of the Night: 5:57
That's the point in the fourth quarter when the Magic finally ran a play for Dwight Howard to get a shot. The play resulted in Howard getting fouled on a dunk attempt and connecting on 1-of-2 free throw attempts.
Game MVP: LeBron
With LBJ's stat-sheet-stuffing performance (see above for exact numbers), how could he not be the MVP of the game, if not the entire league?
What's Next?
The Magic will have to recover quickly from Sunday's disappointment, as they're destined for a road date with the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. The Heat, meanwhile, will have a day to practice and rest up before welcoming the lowly Sacramento Kings to South Beach.
