New England Patriots

B/R featured columnnist Tony Santorsa gives us his seven-round mock draft for the Patriots. This draft presents something of a dream scenario for the Patriots, with players falling in place for a slam dunk draft for New England.

ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss gives us his thoughts on Devin McCourty's fit in the secondary and why it has a dramatic impact on the Patriots' offseason plans. He thinks McCourty will be back at cornerback in 2012, making safety the primary need in the secondary.

Buffalo Bills

Rodney McKissic of The Buffalo News talked to free agent cornerback Stanford Routt, who was impressed with his visit on Monday with the Bills. Routt was given a three-year, $31.5 million extension in February 2011 by the Raiders and was released by the team in January 2012.

B/R contributor Josh Cembellin says that if the Bills can get Routt, they definitely should. He cites a long history of draft misses as one of a few signs of the team's lack of depth at the position.

New York Jets

B/R Jets featured columnist Ryan Alfieri gives eight players that will not be back with New York in 2012. He predicts that the team will not re-sign several of its free agents, including LaDainian Tomlinson and Plaxico Burress.

Rich Cimini of ESPN New York gives us his early look at the Jets' free agents. He has safety Jim Leonhard as a low priority and Sione Pouha as the team's highest priority headed into free agency.

Miami Dolphins

B/R featured columnist Ryan Phillips says the Dolphins must trade up to land Robert Griffin III. The Dolphins have settled for second-rate talent at quarterback for years, and it's time to commit the right resources to the position.

Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald says that there are a lot of free agents the Dolphins should consider, as this year's crop brings a good mix of experienced yet inexpensive veteran talent. If the Dolphins can't land Peyton Manning, they'll have enough cap space to make at least one move in the free-agent market.

AFC East

James Walker of ESPN's AFC East blog gives the latest installment of "ManningWatch" and postulates that weather might be a factor in his final decision.

And yes, some shameless self promotion—I did a little write-up on the cap space for all of the AFC East teams yesterday. Check it out to get a feel for how much money your team could be spending.
