Peyton Manning: Why Colts QB Should Retire from NFL and Move to Acting
There has been a great deal of speculation about Peyton Manning's future, but because of the unknown, the current Indianapolis Colts quarterback would be wise to call it quits and focus on a career in acting.
Everyone has seen how funny Manning has been throughout his career, hosting Saturday Night Live and appearing in multiple commercials and even a guest spot on The Simpsons.
Manning's days in the NFL are numbered, and coming back from a neck injury that forced him to miss an entire season is going to be extremely difficult.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Forgetting about the NFL and moving on to Hollywood would be great for Manning. Heck, he could even star in a football-related movie if he wanted, too. Perhaps Manning has a serious side about him, and expressing that through acting would be tremendous.
Of course, it might be difficult for some to accept Manning in a dramatic role, so his best bet is to stick with comedy. Should he actually focus on acting, his first order of business would be to make Football Cops become a reality.
The Manning retirement talk didn't really kick up until a tweet from Rob Lowe said that the star QB was done with the game. Archie Manning and Peyton's agent denied it, but it got people thinking. Most were speculating on whether or not Manning and Andrew Luck would work on the same team or where else Manning would play.
Even though he's been cleared to play next season, there are some reports that state he "can't throw the ball" and that "he doesn't really have velocity on the ball yet."
There's plenty of time to rehab for Manning, but there's no need to go through all that stress. He's had an amazing NFL career, and even though it would an unfortunate ending, at least he would have his health.
There's no guarantee Manning will be 100 percent by next fall, and if he tries to play despite not being full healthy it could put him in an even worse place.
Moving on from the game he loves to a new hobby is a smart decision. Manning would have a ton of fun being an actor, and because he's incredibly hilarious and famous, people are going to watch what he does.
Who knows, maybe Rob Lowe will help cast him a few movies. A few roles Manning would be perfect for are obviously anything about football, Mr. Mom, a pot-head surfer wannabe, a dead-beat coach vying for one last shot at redemption, a new employee on The Office, a new student on Community and the list goes on and on.
You have to admit it would be funny to see Manning try to raise kids, attempt to surf, be back in a sports-related comedy or have a guest spot on today's hottest comedic shows.
Nobody knows for sure what Manning will do, but because he's a competitor, he's likely to try and play football again, especially since his little brother, Eli, now has more Super Bowl rings than he does.
However, staying safe and not risking further injury by retiring is a smart move and becoming an actor is just icing on the cake.
