WWE Real Talk: The Miz Apparently Blamed for Survivor Series Failure!? Really?
Good Friday, my children.
I just came across an article on LordsofPain.net which states that WWE Superstar and former champion, The Miz, is apprently blamed for the recent less-than-spectacular results of the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
Let it be known that this may be just a rumor or whispers amongst the staff but still...there is no smoke without a fire, right?

The first thing that came into my mind after looking at that was, "Are you kidding me?"
I have no idea what company officials have been smoking but for the record, The Rock and John Cena were the real stars of that show while Miz and his partner R-Truth were left humbled by their huge shadows.
Real Talk!
Even Zack Ryder would say "Are you serious bro?" after hearing such nonsense.
There are so many factors to take into account as to why it was a failure.
One, you had the People's Champion, The Rock, making a return to the ring after seven years. Big news, yes, but the man hardly even showed up on TV so how can you get excited for someone as visible as Casper the friendly ghost?
Two, The Miz and R-Truth were never made to look like any sort of threat. Not one time were they booked properly in order to appear menacing. John Cena beat both of them up single-handedly on one episode of Raw through his Superman form. If that isn't cause for major Debbie Downer, I don't know what is.
Dwayne Johnson wasn't even needed!
Three, that whole main event was to get even more spotlight put on the big Mania match between the cosmic powers (Cena-Rock), so no amount of promos could have saved the sinking ship that was Awesome Truth.
Mike Mizanin a.k.a The Miz is a great talent and a valuable addition to the WWE roster. He does everything that is asked for him and never fails to improve week after week. The man even granted his first wish through the Make-a-Wish Foundation—that is cause for celebration not disintegration.
When you point the finger, there are three pointing back at you, WWE. If someone is to blame for your misfortunes, it is clearly the lousy people you hire to do the writing but even more the ones who approve the garbage.
I may not have written for famous soap operas, but I would have booked a main event for Survivor Series that would have been worthy of the historic pay-per-view. I wouldn't have wasted The Rock's return like that and I would most definitely not have buried my future talent at the expense of the guy many people seem to hate for real—John Cena.
First, they start blaming Miz and what next? Dolph Ziggler? Will he be blamed for "disappointing" Royal Rumble sales?
Let me be clear here. If shows aren't selling so well, IT'S BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY PPVs TO BEGIN WITH.
No time for build-up and lousy writers who've never watched a WWE program in their lives.
Seriously folks, how much money are they paying the average Preppy the Clown writer at WWE?
I would do it for half as much...there, I said it!
Now, The Miz is in the Elimination Chamber match. That is a good place to be, so here's hoping 2012 gets better from here on out.
Might I suggest a move to SmackDown and eventual "face" turn? Just having him on Friday nights as the top "heel" would make all the difference.
You don't have to agree with me, but I think it would be awesome and that my friends...is Real Talk!
