Super Bowl 2012: Why New England's Offense Will Lead Team to Win
The New England Patriots have won 10-straight games largely thanks to their offense and the litany of weapons at the disposal of quarterback Tom Brady.
During the regular season, Brady completed 65.6 percent of his passes for a career-high 5,235 yards, with 39 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His quarterback rating of 105.6 ranked third in the NFL.
Brady was in charge of a Patriots offense that ranked second in the NFL in total yards, averaging 428.0 per game. They also finished second in passing offense as well, averaging 317.8 yards per game through the air. The 34-year-old was successful this season because he was able to spread the ball around to all of his weapons.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Receiver Wes Welker led the NFL in receptions (122), finished second in receiving yards (1,569) and scored nine touchdowns. Rob Gronkowski finished second among all tight ends in receptions (90), led them in yards (1,327) and set the single-season NFL record for touchdowns at the position (17).
In addition to those two outstanding seasons, receiver Deion Branch and tight end Aaron Hernandez both had great years. Branch racked up 51 catches for 702 yards and five touchdowns, while Hernandez hauled in 79 passes for 910 yards and seven scores.
Other than an off day against the Baltimore Ravens, New England's offense has been outstanding during its current winning streak. The Patriots are averaging 35.9 points over that stretch.
In Super Bowl XLVI, New England will be facing a New York Giants team that ranked 27th in the NFL in total defense. The Giants also ranked 29th in the league in pass defense, allowing 255.1 yards per game.
Brady and company should be able to exploit those weaknesses and dominate the game on that side of the ball, leading to yet another championship.
