Giants vs. Patriots Predictions: Tom Brady Won't Be Denied in Super Bowl Rematch
Tom Brady will deliver the Patriots' franchise its fourth Super Bowl title, four years late. The 2007 New England Patriots were the best team in football that year, but the Giants had their number in the season's biggest game. Brady remembers that, and he won't let the same team deny him again.
In 2007, the Pats were virtually unbeatable during the regular season. They were 16-0, and one of those wins came over the Giants. The Pats had the league's best offense and the fourth best defense. They outscored teams at an average of 37-17, and the combination of Brady, Randy Moss and Wes Welker was unbelievable.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
They combined for 210 receptions and 2668 yards that year, but the Giants' pass rush disrupted everything in the Super Bowl. The Giants vaunted defensive line sacked Brady five times and held him to a human 268 yards passing.
This year, the attack is led by Brady, Welker and tight end Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski is having a record setting season with 90 receptions and 17 TDs, and is the weapon against the Giants' pass rush Brady didn't have in 2007.
With Gronk running up the seams of the Giants' defense and wreaking havoc after the catch, it allows Brady to get rid of the ball even quicker than before. He represents a quick release valve against a Giants front that has produced nine sacks in the postseason. Give Brady time and options and he will tear you apart.
The Patriots are not as dominant this year as they were in 2007. They finished 13-3, as opposed to 16-0, and the team doesn't have that same aura of invincibility. This is primarily due to a less than stellar defense that was ranked last in the NFL all year. That was the regular season, and this group has taken the beating they've received in the media personally.
The Patriots defense is allowing 70 less yards and six less points per game in the postseason than they allowed in the regular season. This group will never be a dominant defense, but it doesn't need to be. The Patriots haven't lost a game this season where the defense surrendered 23 points or less. Brady and the Patriots' offense is like 50 Cent, "all they really need is a lil bit."
A huge statement for the entire team came last week, when the team overcame a subpar Brady performance (no TDs and two INTs) to defeat the Baltimore Ravens to reach the big game. A win like that has to give an enormous amount of confidence to the more maligned aspects of the team.
The great thing for the Patriots is that the chances of Brady stringing together two bad performances is very slim. Brady had a season low QB rating of 57.5 against the Ravens. In the regular season, he had four sub 100 QB rating games. In the games that followed, Brady put up an average of 272 passing yards, 10 TDs, one INT and a QB rating of 108.5.
The improved Patriots defense and the different, but still deadly, Patriots' attack will deliver the win. Brady and the Patriots will have their revenge, even though it comes four years after they were almost perfect.
