Super Bowl 2012: 5 Commercials That Super Sunday Just Can't Beat
There are two things that we look forward to on Super Bowl Sunday, neither is Eli Manning's awkward face. The commercials and plentiful supply of snacks are what get us going, and here are the ads that the 2012 commercials will have to live up to.
A couple days ago, we were hit with a stunning video that made us all think the second coming of Ferris Bueller wasn't that far off.
It seems that the magical teaser was for an alleged Honda ad. Jalopnik reports the car company has something special in store for us on Super Sunday.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
They better. It's go big or go home time for advertisers. There is no greater reason for that than the commercials for yesteryear that have tickled us giggly.
With that, here are the Super Bowl commercials that will serve as a measuring stick moving into next Sunday's all-important game. We are looking for longevity and iconic status here folks. Here they are, not in any discernible order as they are all great.
1. Betty White Snickers:
Before Betty White's silver renaissance, she was just one of those Golden Girls. This is one of the early instances of White showing that she can still cause a room to bowl over in laughter after decades of entertaining.
Extra credit goes to Abe Vigoda who looks spry in the pocket, although he needs to dump that ball instead of taking the loss of yards. Come on, Abe.
2. Mean Joe Green:
Mean Joe didn't get his name by being a warm-hearted individual. This is the poignant commercial by which all other Super Bowl commercials are measured.
If you aren't going to be hilarious, at least be ionic.
3. Little Vader:
This is a commercial that you know will stand the test of time, just like the Mean Joe Green one. The cute factor is at puppy and the nerd factor is at marathon sessions of WoW.
This commercial was talked about so much you would have thought Tim Tebow featured in it.
4. Bud Bowl:
If you want some run amongst national sports fans, take a page from Budweiser who created a Bud Bowl that fans would actually bet on its outcome.
As crazy as it sounds now, we actually looked forward to the Bud Bowl, which may have something to do with how many empty bottles were on the table.
5. Where's the Beef?:
Before I was old enough to drive to drive-thrus, Wendy's asked the vital question of beef content in competitors' burgers. I ask this question to this day, but the answer is always, in my gut.
Little old ladies asking questions that could be seen as a tad naughty is always hilarious. This was a meme before such a thing existed.
