Super Bowl Prop Bets: Unique Wagers Guaranteed to Bring Success
If your teams have been eliminated and you're not really interested in the Patriots and Giants, don't worry, there are plenty of other ways to keep yourself amused on Super Bowl Sunday.
The best thing about betting on the Super Bowl is that there are all kinds of weird things to look at. It isn't just who is going to win, or how many points will be scored. With the attention of the NFL squarely on this game, attention is given to other more abstract bets.
If you choose to bet on the Super Bowl, these are wagers that you must make.

Will Either team score 3 unanswered times in the game? (Yes -190/No +155)
Bet to take: No
These offenses are too good, and the defenses are not good enough for one team to get on enough to get on that kind of a run. Even in their worst moments, the other team will at least manage a field goal to prevent scores from going truly unanswered.
This will be a back-and-forth affair not decided until the fourth quarter. Three unanswered scores would be indicative of a blowout, and those don't happen in the Super Bowl anymore.
The only way this game will become one sided is if one team has to settle for one too many field goals. Still, even if that happens, it isn't going to lead to unanswered scores. Those odds are good, and this isn't even close to being a longshot.
Which will be the highest scoring quarter? (First +265/Second +170/Third +300/Fourth +220)
Bet to take: Fourth
In a dome, you can immediately eliminate the odd numbered quarters. In the first and third quarters, teams aren't frantically trying to save time to score before the break. If they don't score in the first quarter, they get the ball in the same spot of the field in the second quarter.
The only possible exception to this is in a cold weather game, when the wind dramatically favors one side over the other. But this game is going to be played within the comforts of a dome, so that's not a factor. That leaves only the second and fourth quarters.
Give Tom Brady and Eli Manning three quarters to figure out average (at best) defenses, and the fourth quarter is going to be a shootout. Manning set the record for most fourth quarter touchdown passes this year, and Brady is one of the most clutch quarterbacks in the history of the NFL.
The fourth quarter will be where the majority of Super Bowl XLVI's action lies. This shootout will take all 60 minutes to find a winner.
