Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Texans vs. Ravens - Sun. Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. EST on CBS
Ray Rice, RB, Ravens: If you're talking about the Ravens making a run to the Super Bowl, running back Ray Rice is going to have to be the key to that.
They utilize a very run-oriented ball control type offense, which usually works perfectly with their smash-mouth defense. Rice notched 1,364 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground, but he's also a duel threat. He brought in 704 yards and three touchdowns through the air.
This offense revolves around Rice, and he's the guy to be watching.
Andre Johnson, WR, Texans: Johnson may not have had the best season ever, but that's mainly because he missed so much of it due to injury.
When all is said and done though he's arguably the most talented player on the field. He notched 90 yards and a touchdown in his first ever playoff game last weekend, and is going to have to be the player of the game if the Texans want to upset the Ravens.
Giants vs. Packers - Sun. Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m. EST on FOX
Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers: At this point I shouldn't even have to alert you that Rodgers is having an incredible season, but just to refresh he finished the year with 4,643, 45 touchdowns and only six interceptions.
He's arguably the most accurate quarterback in football, and he can make just about every throw imaginable. With an arsenal that consist of Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, James Jones and tight end Jermichael Finley, Rodgers captain's the most dangerous offense in football.
Victor Cruz, WR, Giants: Cruz is quickly becoming one of the best wide receivers in the league, and he's possibly the most explosive. He came out of nowhere to finish the season with nine touchdowns and 1,536 yards and is one of Eli Manning's favorite targets.
He has incredible speed, and the Packers secondary is known for giving up some major yardage. Expect Cruz to have a very big game.
