Michigan Football Recruiting: Most Important Targets Left for Wolverines
The Michigan Wolverines already have 24 commitments, but the incoming class can still get better.
And that's saying a lot.
According to Rivals, the Wolverines have 10 four-star prospects and one five-star prospect, offensive lineman Kyle Kalis.
With two-and-a-half weeks left until National Signing Day, Michigan can improve on that already impressive number. Here's a look at potential targets.
Joshua Garnett, OL
Michigan has already secured a slew of solid offensive-line prospects, but that hasn't stopped them (obviously) from going after Garnett. The big man is too good.
Rivals has Garnett as the seventh best offensive tackle and the 26th best overall prospect while ESPN has him as the 42nd best prospect.
The big man from Washington has narrowed his choices down to Michigan, Notre Dame and Stanford. He's scheduled to visit Palo Alto, Calif. and should make his decision in about a week.
This would be a huge (literally) "get" for the Wolverines.
Armani Reeves, CB
Reeves is committed to Penn State, but you have to believe the coaching turmoil might make him change his mind.
The four-star corner is taking an official visit to Ann Arbor this weekend, but don't expect him to officially sign anywhere anytime soon. He's yet to visit Ohio State, where he's also interested and he hasn't officially visited Penn State, either.
His decision might come after National Signing Day.
Monty Madaris, WR
Madaris, according to ESPN, is the top uncommitted player left from the state of Ohio and he's planning on making his decision in two weeks.
The talented wide receiver was scheduled to visit Ann Arbor this weekend, but recently stated he won't be making that trip. That's not great news for the Wolverines, but not necessarily a deal-breaker.
He still lists his top four as Cincinnati, Kentucky, Michigan and Michigan State.
