WWE: With Chris Jericho Back, How and When Will The Undertaker Return?
It finally happened.
Chris Jericho returned to WWE after a long absence with all the lights and fireworks the legend could muster.
Not only does he look to be in great shape, but he got the crowd eating out of his hand from the moment he arrived. The best part is that he hasn't said one single word yet, and already there were people booing him.

What can be said about Y2J other than he is the master!
There are still many unanswered questions in regards to what he plans to do, but for some reason, the road to WrestleMania and the actual show could very well be the greatest ever seen.
Not only do we have The Rock back on the card but Chris Jericho as well. If all goes as assumed, he should be competing in the other main event and for the WWE championship no less—a place fit for a legend of his stature.
Speaking of legends, where in the world could The Undertaker be hiding?
No one has heard from him since his victory over Triple H at last year's grand spectacle—a victory that seemed to have cost him his physical body as he cleared out of the ring in a stretcher. Not a good sign, is it?
Let's take this to a sort of Lord of the Rings format, just for a second. Here's a quote from Saruman in the Fellowship of the Ring movie:
"He cannot yet take physical form, but his spirit has lost none of its potency. His gaze pierces cloud, shadow, earth and flesh."
The time has not yet come for his return because there is no one there to challenge his rule. The Streak, like the one ring, are one and the same with him. As long as it remains safe and tucked away, so will The Undertaker.
Who in their right mind would dare call out the Dark Lord to battle?
Brock Lesnar? No way!
Kane? Been there, done that...twice!
Triple H? Sorry, Hunter, you lost two times already, next!
The Phenom is one of the few remaining ancients left in WWE. An ancient is meant to be seen as a being of immense power and experience who has been present for years. A character with such knowledge of the business, it flows in his veins.
It would be pure magic to put Chris Jericho and The Undertaker on a collision course: two veterans who would steal the show, no matter how you spin it. Though it seems unlikely at this point, there is no greater honor than to battle the man of the dark side on the best show of the year.
The WWE title comes in second when compared to The Streak, as sad as that may seem. Neither legend needs it, nor do they seek to regain it. They are beyond championships. Y2J's resume lacks but one thing: to challenge Undertaker at WrestleMania.
There is plenty of time left to ponder what's in store for the WWE universe from now until April 1st.
The Royal Rumble barely has any matches on the card, and as mentioned before, Jericho hasn't said a word yet.
*** DO NOT BELIEVE everything you read.
The Internet is filled with false and deceiving information on what is planned months away.
For all we know, the Ayatollah of Rock-and-Rolla returned for one reason and one reason only: to take The Undertaker to hell and slam the door shut, permanently.
At WrestleMania 28, there will be a match for the WWE championship, and it could have Chris Jericho as the defending champion versus the Phenom and his incredible, undefeated streak.
For the skeptics, remember that at Elimination Chamber, anyone can come out of the match holding the title. The scenario written above is very possible. It only has to be penned that way.
As for Taker, only Mark Calloway knows when and where he will lace up his boots and make his long-awaited return to the squared circle. If his body needs healing and rest, then that's what will happen. If Michelle McCool likes having her man close, then that's what'll happen.
He has earned his measure of peace.
But as a fan, I do hope he returns soon so that another victim can fall prey to his out-of-this-world power.
No matter who it is this year, they will all rest...in...peace!
