Giants vs. Packers: Why Aaron Rodgers Will Torch the Giants
After being the best player in the NFL all season long, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is now well-rested and ready to lead his team in pursuit of a second-straight Super Bowl title. Rodgers sat out the team's final regular season game and the Packers had a bye in the opening round of the playoffs, which has given the quarterback extra time to prepare for the New York Giants.
Rodgers and Green Bay host the Giants on Sunday in a rematch of a game the Packers won 38-35 in Week 13 at MetLife Stadium. This weekend at Lambeau, I don't expect the final score to be anywhere near that close.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Rodgers finished the regular season having completed 343 of 502 passes (68.3 percent) for 4,643 yards, with 45 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He led the NFL in yards per attempt (9.25) and his quarterback rating of 122.5 set the single-season NFL record.
I'd say it was a successful year.
The 28-year-old signal-caller is as good as anyone at utilizing all of his weapons. This season, the Packers had a ridiculous seven players with 25 or more receptions. Meanwhile, Jordy Nelson had a breakout season, racking up 68 catches for 1,263 yards and 15 touchdowns. His 18.6 yards per catch was also fifth in the NFL.
Fellow targets Greg Jennings (67 catches), Jermichael Finley (55), James Jones (38) and Donald Driver (37) all contributed heavily to the passing attack.
The Giants could be in serious trouble this weekend, as they finished the regular season ranked 29th in pass defense after allowing 255.1 yards per game. The Packers have so many weapons and Rodgers is so accurate that things could get ugly for New York.
Rodgers is rested, has all of his weapons back healthy—now that Jennings' knee is good to go—and is simply playing on another level right now. The Giants will need a superhuman effort from their weak secondary to have a chance on Sunday. I just can't see that happening.
