WWE News: Kurt Angle Says WWE Has No Respect for Him
Ever since Kurt Angle left the WWE nearly five years ago for TNA, there has been talk about if the Olympic Gold Medalist would ever return to the company that made him a star before he signed with the rival company.
Following a recent interview with the New York Times, Kurt Angle certainly doused those rumors of the former WWE Champion ever returning to his first home as a professional wrestler.

""It was a complete career adaptation. It wasn't a step above, going from amateur wrestling to pro wrestling, it was going from real wrestling to sports entertainment," Angle said.
"A lot of people put me up there as far as saying he's one of the best ever. And I've only been wrestling for 11 and a half years. I think that Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, guys who have put 30 years into it deserve it. Me getting that praise after only 11 years—it's not fair.”
"
Angle makes a great point in his interview when he compares himself to other pro wrestling legends like Flair, Michaels and the Undertaker, but even though he’s only been in the business for 11 years, Angle has proven he’s been one of the best over the years.
""When Jack Swagger copies my ankle lock and Randy Orton does my Angle Slam, it's disrespectful," Angle said. "I didn't come up with the Ankle Lock, Ken Shamrock came up with the Ankle Lock but I waited until he retired to do the Ankle Lock. That company has no respect for me."
"
Now, here is the portion of the interview that will see the collective air let out of the balloons of those WWE fans wanting to see Kurt Angle make a return to the WWE in the future.
While Angle has a point about his moves being performed recently, there are just moves that really anyone can use in a match in any promotion even though Swagger and Orton are more widely seen on television.
""I love Vince McMahon. He came up with the Kurt Angle character,” Angle said. "He ran with it and then I was able to run with it. I thank him for the opportunity he gave me. Vince McMahon was one of my best friends, period. Now I'm loyal to Dixie Carter."
"
In this final part of the interview, I thought I would never hear or read Angle saying he loved McMahon for anything during his career, but he did show respect for Vince in creating his Angle character when he debuted in 1999.
So, Bleachers, do you think Kurt Angle will finish his professional wrestling career with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling or will we see the Olympic hero return to the WWE for one last return?
