Super Bowl 2025: Updated Odds and Predictions for Championship Bracket
What was once a 32-team field vying for Super Bowl bliss has now been whittled down to the last eight teams standing in the 2024-25 NFL season.
Oddsmakers still see a good amount of separation with this group.
They still like the juggernauts, whether that's a Kansas City Chiefs team vying for an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl, a Detroit Lions that paced the league with a plus-222 scoring differential in the regular season or a Philadelphia Eagles club out to avenge their Super Bowl LVII loss.
Might we see some surprises before that, though? We're breaking out the crystal ball to find out and giving Divisional Round predictions after laying out the latest championship odds from DraftKings Sportsbook.

AFC Predictions
2 of 3
Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs can and should get the benefit of the doubt by virtue of being back-to-back champs, but they haven't exactly aced the eye test so far. While they tied for the best record in the league at 15-2, they ranked just 11th overall in point differential at plus-59. Maybe that doesn't matter because Patrick Mahomes is a magician on this stage, but it's still hard to forget how often they had to sweat their way through nail-biters.
It feels like someone could capitalize on Kansas City's apparent vulnerability, but Houston probably isn't that someone. While the Texans just throttled the Los Angeles Chargers, their injury riddled receiving group could be a fatal flaw in this matchup. As great as Nico Collins is (seven receptions for 122 yards and a score on Saturday), he can't keep doing all the heavy lifting on his own and could have trouble getting going against star cornerback Trent McDuffie.
Prediction: Chiefs 24, Texans 17
Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills
While this weekend could be loaded with great football, Sunday's late game should be the showstopper. Beyond the fact these teams won a combined 25 games and posted identical plus-157 scoring differentials in the regular season, they're also quarterbacked by the two players vying for MVP honors: Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen.
Allen is the favorite to win that award, but that may be partly due to the perception that Jackson has more talent around him. The addition of Derrick Henry made this ground game unstoppable, and this defense seems to grow stingier by the second (17 points allowed or fewer in five consecutive contests). Allen can do awesome things, and he'll have a home crowd behind him, but Jackson and the Ravens might be more than he can overcome.
Prediction: Ravens 31, Bills 28
NFC Predictions
3 of 3
Washington Commanders at Detroit Lions
The Commanders have been a revelation this season, tripling their win count from a season ago while reaching the Divisional Round for the first time in nearly two decades. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has already established himself as one of the NFL's rising stars, and Terry McLaurin might be the best receiver who isn't talked about nearly enough.
All of that said, these Lions appear on a mission to right the wrongs committed during their squandering of a 17-point, second-half advantage in last year's NFC Championship. They shattered their franchise record with 15 wins and posted a point differential more than 60 points better than the second-ranked team. They're also coming in well-rested after earning a bye, but rust shouldn't be a worry since they needed a Week 18 win to wrap up the conference's top seed.
Prediction: Lions 35, Commanders 27
Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles have lost a single game since September, beat three of their last five opponents by double-digits and were one of only two teams with top-seven scoring averages on offense (27.2 points per game, seventh) and defense (17.8, second). They also walloped these very same Rams back in November, with Saquon Barkley rushing for a franchise-record 255 yards and a pair of scores in their 37-20 triumph.
So, clearly Philadelphia is an obvious pick here, right? Not so fast, friends. Jalen Hurts didn't look great in his return from a late-season concussion, and even a defense as dominant as the Eagles' could have trouble containing an aerial attack featuring Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. This young Rams defense is hitting its stride, too, having held four of its last five opponents to single-digits.
Prediction: Rams 23, Eagles 20
