All-American Bowl 2025: Top Recruits Announcing Commitments at Game
The All-American Bowl serves as an annual showcase for the top high school football players in the country. It's an opportunity for the best senior recruits (as well as some standout juniors) to face off before embarking on the start of their college careers in the fall.
It also provides a chance for uncommitted recruits to announce their college commitments on a national stage, which will happen again Saturday afternoon.
The 2025 edition of the event is set to take place Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio (noon ET, NBC). As usual, the rosters for the game are filled with premier talent.
Here's a look at some of the top recruits who will be announcing commitments during the broadcast of the event.
Justin Hasenhuetl, 4-star OL
1 of 3
The No. 20 interior offensive lineman and No. 334 overall recruit in the 2025 class (per the 247Sports Composite rankings), Justin Hasenhuetl will be one of the top players announcing his commitment on Saturday. The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School (Ga.) standout is 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds with a skill set that should set him up well for the future.
The 247Sports Crystal Ball is predicting that Hasenhuetl will commit to Cal. He took an official visit to the school on Nov. 22, then decommitted from Georgia Tech on Dec. 1.
However, it's not a given that Hasenhuetl will pick either of those schools. There's also a chance he could commit to North Carolina (now led by former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick), which has made a "late push," per Andrew Ivins of 247Sports.
Hasenhuetl took an official visit to UNC on Dec. 15, so perhaps the Tar Heels are in the process of getting the 4-star lineman to pick them.
Cameron Sparks, 4-star WR
2 of 3
There are three schools still in the running for Cameron Sparks, a 4-star wide receiver out of Chattanooga, Tenn. He will be picking either Arkansas, Mississippi State or Virginia Tech. So the odds are in favor of him heading to the SEC this fall, although the Hokies are still in it.
Sparks has kept his commitment open throughout the process, so it hasn't exactly been clear which way he's been leaning at times. But one of those three programs will be landing a recruit who ranks No. 388 overall in the 2025 class.
At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, Sparks has the size and physicality to potentially become a force at the college level. So he could develop into an impressive playmaker down the line.
This is a commitment that could truly go any of the three ways.
McKay Madsen, 4-star LB
3 of 3
Like Sparks, 4-star linebacker McKay Madsen is down to three schools, one of which will earn a commitment from the Clovis, Calif., native on Saturday. He'll be picking either BYU, Oregon or UCLA and will head to one of those schools in the fall.
The Ducks appear to be the current front-runners to land Madsen, as the 247Sports Crystal Ball is predicting he'll pick Oregon. But the other two programs have remained in the mix.
Madsen (the No. 433 overall recruit in the 2025 class) took an official visit to Oregon on Dec. 13. So it's easy to see why some may think this is trending in the Ducks' direction.
But anything can happen, especially when a recruit is down to so few options.
