Romeo Crennel: Chiefs Reportedly Choose Former Browns Boss as Head Coach
The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly made the decision to hire former Cleveland Browns head coach and current interim head coach of the Chiefs Romeo Crennel as the full-time front man.
Crennel took over the job when the team fired third-year head coach Todd Haley after going 19-27 during his tenure. While injuries ruined much of this season, Romeo was able to keep the players focused and confident.
Despite unrest that was frequent during Haley’s reign, Crennel runs the kind of shift that NFL players want to have. While he expects his team to work hard, he rewards their hard work with plenty of fun, fair treatment.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Adam Schefter is reporting on Twitter about the Chiefs coaching position:
This is by far the smartest thing the Kansas City Chiefs could do at this moment because it keeps the locker room happy. As far as Crennel goes, if he falters horribly this season, cutting the cord will be quick and painless for the organization.
The best part of this whole story is that one of the better coaches in the NFL will finally get a chance to coach a team that is half-decent. With the Cleveland Browns team he ran before, there wasn't enough talent to show how good of a coach he could be, but it's redemption time.
With the return of injured stars Jamaal Charles, Tony Moeaki and Eric Berry, Crennel will have a team that could easily fight for an AFC West title. Let’s see if he can get them over the top.
