Lamar Jackson was impressed with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels after their duel on Sunday.
Jackson revealed that he plans to send Daniels his jersey and hopes to receive one in return following the Baltimore Ravens' 30-23 win over the Washington Commanders.
"I need that jersey," Jackson said. "I mean, he's definitely a great player. This is his fifth, sixth game in the league, rookie year? I mean, the sky's the limit for him."

The respect was mutual, as Daniels also discussed his admiration for the two-time MVP when speaking to reporters following the contest.
"Great player, man," Daniels said, via Ben Standig of The Athletic. "Two-time MVP for a reason. He had a great game. Obviously you keep it in the back of your mind like, man, we got to score. Because they got a quarterback on their side who can score points too."
Jackson finished 20-of-26 for 323 yards and a touchdown to go along with an interception. He also made plays with his legs, adding 40 yards on 11 rush attempts.
Daniels wrapped up an efficient performance through the air, completing 68.6 percent of his throws for 269 yards and two touchdowns without turning the ball over. He picked up 22 yards on the ground, rushing six times.
The dual-threat quarterback has drawn comparisons to Jackson, but Daniels has been adamant that he wants to make a name for himself.
"I don't like when people try to compare me to Lamar," Daniels said, per ESPN's John Keim. "We're two different players. I want to be known as Jayden Daniels and not the next such-and-such."
The former LSU standout has exceeded expectations to begin his inaugural year after he was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. He's completed a league-best 75.3 percent of his passes for 1,404 yards while adding an additional 322 yards on the ground.
Daniels has helped lead the Commanders to a 4-2 record, giving Washington a chance to contend for its first playoff appearance since 2020.
