NFL Trade Rumors: Cowboys, Chiefs, Rams, Commanders Would 'Love to Add a Talented WR'
Heading into Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season, teams are in the process of assessing their needs leading up to the trade deadline.
Per ESPN's Dan Graziano, the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams and Washington Commanders would "all love to add a talented (wide receiver)."
The Chiefs and Rams are obvious candidates to have interest in a wide receiver. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sept. 14 that Kansas City expects to be without Marquise Brown for the entirety of the regular season due to a shoulder injury.

Brown announced on Monday he had successful surgery on his left shoulder.
The Rams are looking for any healthy bodies they can get to avoid the situation that sank their 2022 season. Puka Nacua could be out until Week 9 due to a strained PCL he suffered in the season-opening loss to the Detroit Lions, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport reported on Thursday that Cooper Kupp, who suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 2, is going to be in a cast for "the next week or so" to keep his swelling down.
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Kupp won't go on injured reserve right now, but noted it is "still a possibility" if his ankle doesn't respond as quickly as they hope.
The Cowboys and Commanders don't have injury issues at the position as much as they just need to get better production.
CeeDee Lamb has been targeted on 17 of Dak Prescott's 71 pass attempts through two games for Dallas. Jalen Tolbert with 11 is the only other player with at least 10 targets.
Washington's offense under new offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury has left a lot to be desired. The top two receivers by yards are running back Austin Ekeler (99) and tight end Zach Ertz (90).
Noah Brown is the Commanders' leading receiver among wideouts with 56 yards. Terry McLaurin has 39 yards on eight receptions. Some of these struggles can also be attributed to Jayden Daniels not throwing to receivers when opposing teams get pressure on him.
It's unclear at this point which receivers might be available in a trade during the season. Graziano listed Davante Adams and Diontae Johnson as potential candidates based on their contracts and current team's situation, but there's no indication either player is being shopped.
Thanks to a rule change approved by owners during the offseason, teams will have more time to assess where they stand before having to make a decision about making any moves.
While the trade deadline has typically been on the Tuesday after Week 8, it is now the Tuesday after Week 9. The deadline this year is on Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. ET.
