Yankees' Aaron Judge: 'Hopefully We Start Making Moves' Ahead of MLB Trade Deadline
With less than 24 hours to go before Tuesday's 6 p.m. ET trade deadline, New York Yankees star slugger Aaron Judge is not satisfied with his team's lack of activity.
"Other teams are making moves, so hopefully we start making moves, too," Judge said after Monday's 14-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies, per The Athletic's Chris Kirschner.
The Yankees' only move so far has been acquiring outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. from the Miami Marlins on Saturday. That move has already paid dividends, as he joined Judge in hitting two home runs in Monday's win.

Still, New York has more to do if it hopes to contend for a spot in the World Series. The team reportedly has been seeking pitching improvements and has been linked to Detroit Tigers starter Jack Flaherty as well as multiple closers.
After improving the 63-45, the Yankees sit one game behind the Baltimore Orioles (63-43) for first place in the AL East. If New York is able to complete more deals prior to Tuesday's trade deadline, it would bolster the team's chances of making a late run to a potential division title.
Fans are holding out hope that the Yankees will listen to Judge's advice and make more moves to improve the roster.
