Anthony Edwards Promises to Be 'Super Aggressive' in Timberwolves' Game 3 vs. Mavs
NBA fans should anticipate a flurry of shots from Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
Edwards spoke with reporters prior to the game and promised to be "super aggressive" and that he was going to hoist up "a lot of shots."
"I haven't took more than 16 shots in a game," Edwards said. "I'm going to be ultra aggressive for sure."
Edwards has been the leader for the Timberwolves this postseason, averaging 27.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 13 games. This is a major reason why Minnesota has been able to advance to the Conference Finals for the first time since 2004.
However, Minnesota is currently in a 2-0 series hole against the Dallas Mavericks and will need to pick up some road victories in order to climb back into the series. Edwards has averaged 20 points, eight rebounds and 7.5 assists in the two games against the Mavericks.
Minnesota will need to get the ball in Edwards' hands more in order to climb back into the series, and his strategy appears to be centered around finding as many shot opportunities as possible.
The Timberwolves will look to start the journey back Sunday at 8 P.M. ET.
