"Glory to God," Horton wrote in the caption of the Instagram story. "Final treatment."
The Texans announced in March that Horton was in remission.
A 2023 fourth-round pick, Horton last played in the NFL on Nov. 19.
Horton has previously said he plans to return to the Texans when he is able.
"My next objective is to complete my treatments, then get back to playing the game that I love," Horton said in the statement released by the team in March. "Thank you for your prayers and support as I continue this journey."
Horton appeared in 10 games during his rookie NFL season in 2023, recording 13 tackles, two quarterback hits and one fumble recovery before taking an indefinite leave of absence in November.
Prior to joining the NFL, Horton played two college seasons for New Mexico and three for the TCU Horned Frogs.
