Major League Baseball Players Association executive director Tony Clark earned $4.25 million in 2023, up from his 2022 salary of $2.25 million, per ESPN's Jeff Passan.
Clark reportedly received a $3.25 million salary with a $1 million bonus last year.
Clark, who played for six different MLB teams from 1995 to 2009, took over his current position in 2013, becoming the first former player to hold that position.

Since Clark's first full season in 2014, the MLBPA's revenues have increased significantly—from $64.7 million in his first year to $191.8 million last season, according to Passan. That revenue is a reflection of deals with brands like Topps ($49.6 million in 2023), Fanatics ($44 million in 2023) and several others.
Passan also noted that the MLBPA spending on employee salaries has also increased in the last few years. In 2021, the union spent $11.9 million on employee salaries while employees received $16.6 million in 2023.
Clark is expected to receive a slight increase in his salary over the final years of his contract, which runs through 2027.
