It's not much of a surprise to see Clingan jump from No. 5 to No. 3 after the promise he has shown in the tournament.
The 7'2" sophomore put up 22 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in the Elite Eight, just a week after recording eight blocks in the Round of 32. He has NBA size and could develop into a valuable player if selected by the right team.
Another dominant big who has emerged as a lottery pick this season, Zach Edey, put up one of the best games of his career in the Elite Eight. The 7'4" senior had 40 points and 16 rebounds to advance Purdue past Tennessee and into the Final Four.
There are still plenty of questions to be answered about the 21-year-old, like whether his game will translate to the NBA, but his size and ability around the rim are undeniable.
One of Edey's opponents in the Elite Eight, Dalton Knecht, has emerged as a top-10 pick recently as well.
The Tennessee star—likely Edey's biggest rival for Player of the Year—held his position at No. 8 after another big game in the tournament.
Knecht, who is arguably the best scorer in college basketball, had 37 points in the Vols' loss to Purdue, marking his eighth game with 30 or more this season.
Two of Kentucky's stars, Rob Dillingham and Reed Sheppard, remain in the top 10 despite their round-of-64 tournament exit.
Dillingham is, arguably, the most NBA-ready prospect in college basketball despite being a freshman, and he could have an immediate impact on whatever team he is drafted to. Sheppard had a late surge into the lottery after a strong finish to the season, and now most draft analysts seem to believe he belongs in the top 10.
With just four teams remaining in the NCAA tournament, all eyes will be on UConn's Clingan and Stephon Castle and Purdue's Edey as those lottery-projected players look to raise their stock in the Final Four.
