ESPN 2024 NBA Mock Draft: Latest Picks for Edey, Filipowski and March Madness Stars

The latest mock draft from ESPN's Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo featured several players who have been dominating in the NCAA tournament.

French forward Zaccharie Risacher is still projected to go No. 1 overall, although there was some movement throughout the rest of the lottery. Here are the updated top 15 selections:

Edey's rise is surprising, although the 7'4" center has put together a pair of impressive March Madness performances to help send Purdue to the Sweet 16. In two NCAA tournament games, he's averaging 26.5 points and 17.5 rebounds to go with 3.0 blocks per game.

While Woo acknowledged Edey's defensive concerns, he believes that teams may be swayed by his productive season anyway.

"It's hard to get overly nitpicky about Edey's remarkable season at this point," he wrote. "But the deeper Purdue can go in the tournament, the longer NBA teams have to consider the ways in which his unique mix of size, strength and production might break the current conventional mold for big men at their level, no matter what he may give up defensively."

Standout Duke center Kyle Filipowski got off to a slow offensive start in March Madness, finishing with three points and attempting just one shot during the Blue Devils' first-round victory over Vermont. He was locked in on the defensive end of the floor, though, racking up three blocks and two steals.

Filipowski looked like his usual self during the team's victory over James Madison on Sunday, scoring 14 points in just 21 minutes on 6-of-8 shooting. He also added two more steals and a block.

If the two centers continue to impress while leading their respective teams on deep tournament runs, their draft stock should continue to rise.
