Schroeder did note the Brazil game will air on the local NBC affiliate in Philadelphia and the opposing team's market.
It had been previously reported that Amazon was going to replace Peacock as the streaming home for a playoff game next season.
Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports reported on Feb. 21 that Amazon was paying the NFL $120 million for the rights to air a postseason matchup.
Joe Flint of the Wall Street Journal noted NBCUniversal made a push to keep its rights for a wild-card game after the success of last season, but Amazon's overall agreement with the NFL included a clause that allowed it to claim the contest.
The AFC Wild Card Game between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs resulted in 2.8 million sign-ups for Peacock. It also received an estimated 23 million viewers and was the most-streamed live event ever.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced on Feb. 5 that the Eagles will serve as the designated home team for the league's first-ever regular-season game in São Paulo, Brazil.
It will be one of five international games on the 2024 regular-season schedule. It will be played on Friday, Sept. 6.
This will mark the second straight year with at least one Friday game. The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets played on Black Friday in a game that was streamed on Prime Video.
The league has historically avoided playing games on Fridays during the high school and college seasons as part of the Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961.
The act was implemented to protect attendance at high school and college games. It prevents the NFL from running games that start after 6 p.m. local time on Fridays and Saturdays starting with the second Friday in September through the second Saturday in December
Last year's Black Friday game got around that by having kickoff at 3 p.m. ET.
As for which team the Eagles might play in Brazil, their list of home opponents includes their three NFC East rivals, the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
