NFL Rumors: Jerry Jeudy, Browns Agree to 3-Year, $58M Contract Extension After Trade
After being traded from the Denver Broncos to the Cleveland Browns, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy received a vote of confidence from his new team.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Browns signed Jeudy to a three-year contract extension worth up to $58 million with $41 million fully guaranteed.
Jeudy was entering the final year of his rookie contract after the Broncos exercised his fifth-year option last offseason. He's set to make nearly $13 million in 2024, and his new extension provides him with some security for the next few years.

Cardinals May Be Bluffing Pick
The Browns sent 2024 fifth- and sixth-round picks to the Broncos to acquire Jeudy this month. ESPN's Jake Trotter reported that Cleveland had an interest in the wideout dating back to last offseason.
The 15th pick in the 2020 draft, Jeudy never fully lived up to the expectations placed on him when he entered the league out of Alabama. While he showed flashes of potential, he never recorded a 1,000-yard season in his four years in Denver. He finished the 2023 season with 54 catches for 758 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games.
Jeudy is joining a Browns team that is coming off a surprising run to the playoffs this past season despite losing quarterback Deshaun Watson and star running back Nick Chubb to season-ending injuries.
The 24-year-old should have more opportunities to produce in Cleveland as part of a receiving corps that includes five-time Pro Bowler Amari Cooper and tight end David Njoku, who earned his first career Pro Bowl selection in 2023.
