Steelers Rumors: Some Aren't '100% on Board' with Tyler Boyd Contract in Free Agency
Amid reports of mutual interest between wide receiver Tyler Boyd and the Pittsburgh Steelers, some members of the Steelers organization are "not 100% on board" with signing him, per The Athletic's Mark Kaboly.
Last week, Boyd to the Steelers seemed like a real possibility, but Kaboly reported that it's not "anywhere close to a sure thing" at this point.

Boyd had 667 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns on 67 receptions for the Cincinnati Bengals last season.
Boyd, an eight-year veteran, has spent his entire career with the Bengals, notching back-to-back 1,000+ receiving yard seasons in 2018 and 2019. He's coming off a four-year, $43 million contract with Cincinnati.
The 2016 second-round pick out of Pitt is from nearby Clairton, Pennsylvania, so signing with the Steelers would be an opportunity for him to play for his hometown team.
He could also fill some major voids for Pittsburgh. The Steelers are out one receiver after trading Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers for a draft pick and cornerback Donte Jackson. Johnson was Pittsburgh's second-leading receiver last season with 717 yards and five touchdowns.
Adding Boyd would also give the Steelers' receiving room a much-needed experience boost, Beyond George Pickens and Van Jefferson, Pittsburgh does not have much experience at wideout.
For now, the Steelers will look to figure out the divide between its staff when it comes to signing Boyd.
