T-Wolves' Anthony Edwards Returns vs. Spurs After Being Helped Off With Ankle Injury
The Minnesota Timberwolves may have dodged a bullet on Tuesday night.
Anthony Edwards had to be helped off the court during the second quarter of Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs after suffering an apparent ankle injury.
The 22-year-old tried to cut toward the middle of the court to get open for a pass before hitting the floor in pain after appearing to tweak his ankle.

Luckily for the Timberwolves, he returned to start the second half despite the injury.
Edwards notched 18 points, two rebounds and two assists in the first half before being helped to the locker room.
The Georgia product has been mostly healthy this season, though he missed time earlier in the year with a hip ailment.
Edwards is in the midst of a career year, averaging 26.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 54 games while shooting 46.8 percent from the floor and 38.4 percent from beyond the arc.
The Timberwolves remain in a tight battle for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and will need Edwards healthy if they hope to secure home-court advantage through the conference final, should they make it that far.
Minnesota entered Tuesday's game sitting first in the Western Conference with a 40-17 record. The Oklahoma City Thunder, which are second in the conference, are also 40-17 on the season and the Denver Nuggets are 39-19, just 1.5 games back of the top spot.
Should Edwards miss any time moving forward, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jordan McLaughlin would likely see more playing time.
