MLB Trade Rumors: Ozzie Guillen and Carlos Zambano Will Make Marlins Must-See
I will never be accused of being a Miami Marlins fan, but they are on the brink of making themselves an interesting team, and that's putting it mildly.
According to Bruce Levine of ESPNChicago.com, the Cubs and Marlins have agreed on a trade that would send Zambrano to the Marlins. Trade rumors come and go all the time but that can't happen here.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
All that I ask for is one collision between Ozzie Guillen and Carlos Zambrano.
The two of them occupying the same city was fun, but this would go beyond my wildest dreams. As a person who writes about sports, I want this to happen. As a person who enjoys watching the occasional trainwreck, I need this to happen.
I am not asking for drama every start, although anyone would be foolish to dismiss it as a possibility. No, just once, but it has to be in the dugout.
I am imagining a game where Guillen leaves Zambrano in for one pitch too long. Maybe a close lead was squandered by Zambrano by hanging a pitch with men on base, and a sudden win becomes a loss.
After Guillen removes Zambrano from the game, he walks into the dugout and makes some comment to his pitcher about pitch selection, or getting his head into the game, only with about 25 NSFW comments being thrown in within a four-second stretch.
At that point, Zambrano would snap, and neither will will ever back down from a fight.
This would make the Marlins something that they haven't been since winning the World Series in 2003: interesting. This is a team that struggled to even draw 1,000 fans at times in their old park.
Now that they're in a new stadium and new name, it's time to give them a new attitude. The combination of Guillen and Zambrano will at least bring attitude.
Even if the fight never ensues, people are going to have their eyes glued to this team all season, just for the possibility.
The intrigue would never go away. That's something the Marlins will need if they're going to succeed in the new stadium.
