
Travis Kelce: 'Hell Yeah' I Plan to Play in 2024 After Chiefs' Super Bowl 58 Win
One of the greatest tight ends in NFL history is not ready to call it a career just yet, as Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is planning on returning for his 12th NFL season in 2024.
"Hell yeah," Kelce said, via ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, when asked if he plans on playing next season.
He added: 'I want that three-peat.'

Kelce helped lead the Chiefs win their second straight Super Bowl on Sunday with a 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
He had nine receptions for 93 yards in the win.
The 34-year-old slowed down slightly in 2023, finishing with 93 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns. His record streak of seven consecutive 1,000-yard seasons came to an end, but he's still among the best at his position.
Kelce now has the fourth-most receiving yards (11,328) and receptions (907) and fifth-most touchdowns (74) by a tight end in NFL history. He holds numerous NFL records for tight ends, including most consecutive and most overall 1,000-yard seasons (seven) most 100-yard games (37), and most 100-reception seasons (three). His 1,416 yards in 2020 were the most ever by a tight end in a single season.
Kelce will get to continue his acclaimed partnership with Chiefs star quarterback that made them one of the most prolific duos in the NFL over the last few years. During Kansas City's win over the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, they broke Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski's record for most playoff touchdowns by a quarterback-receiver tandem.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid will continue utilizing Kelce as a focal point in his offense, as his versatility and athleticism allowed him to frequently move him around the formation to create favorable matchups and draw up gadget plays that often left opposing defenders scratching their heads.
Kelce has seen his star power off the field rise as well. His relationship with 12-time Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift drew headlines throughout the 2023 season and gained him a whole new fan base. He also hosted the New Heights podcast with his brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce during the season.
While it's clear that Kelce has a bevy of opportunities waiting for him when he's ready to hang up his cleats, he will be back in 2024 to help the Chiefs chase another championship.
