Tyreek Hill Leaves Dolphins Practice After Fire at His Miami-Area Home
Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill departed Wednesday's practice earlier than expected after a fire broke out at his Miami-area home, according to Julian Quintana of WSVN 7 News Miami.
"Tyreek has been in communication with his family. Everyone is out of the house and safe at this time. He has also left practice to deal with the situation," the Dolphins said in a statement, per Quintana.

Hill purchased the Southwest Ranches home in 2022 for $6.9 million, according to property records obtained by 7 News. It features seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a full-size basketball court, a pool and a home theater.
The seven-time Pro Bowler began his career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016 and spent six seasons with the franchise before being traded to the Dolphins ahead of the 2022 campaign.
Hill has emerged as Miami's most important offensive player aside from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa since his arrival.
The 29-year-old was aiming to become the first receiver in NFL history to record 2,000 receiving yards in a season, but he missed a Week 15 matchup against the New York Jets with an injury and that feat is now unlikely with one game left.
Still, the 2023 campaign has been a career year for Hill, who has caught 112 passes for 1,717 yards and 12 touchdowns in 15 games.
The Dolphins will close out the regular season with a matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday before the playoffs begin.
