Green Bay Packers OC Joe Philbin on Radar for Kansas City Chiefs Job
The future of the Green Bay Packers could take a major hit, as offensive coordinator Joe Philbin is becoming a big target for head coaching vacancies.
As reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Kansas City Chiefs will interview Philbin Wednesday night.
Having been with the Packers since 2003, taking over as offensive coordinator in 2007, Philbin would be a big loss for Aaron Rodgers and the dominant Green Bay offensive attack.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 50 year old has never been a head coach, and if he ends up with the Chiefs it wouldn't be a bad fit. After all, Kansas City has a lot of offensive talent to work with, and a healthy Jamaal Charles next year will make them much better.
Plus, the Chiefs are tied with the Seattle Seahawks for the 11th pick in the 2012 NFL draft, and they should get a solid player whether or not the win the coin toss at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Matt Cassel is far from Rodgers, but with Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston and Jonathan Baldwin, the Chiefs can definitely move the ball down the field.
Philbin has done an excellent job over the years with the Packers, and finally adding the title of head coach to his résumé makes sense.
There are plenty of jobs available this offseason, and the Chiefs aren't a horrible one, especially given how rough the AFC West division was this season. Some better coaching could result in a superb year for Kansas City.
Green Bay should definitely prepare themselves for Philbin's departure. He may not make any decisions until after the playoffs, but then again, you never really know.
The Packers will still be alright without him, but making changes in big positions like that is always tough.
As long as Green Bay has a healthy Aaron Rodgers, though, they'll be contenders in the NFC. As for Philbin, Packers' fans should wish him well if he does end up leaving because he's been a big help in bringing Green Bay back to a prominence.
