Clemson's Brevin Galloway Undergoes Emergency Surgery; Says Testicles 'Exploded'
Clemson guard Brevin Galloway underwent emergency surgery on Thursday to repair a unique physical problem.
In a video posted to his Instagram stories, Galloway explained he woke up from a nap after working out and his "balls and nut sack were exploded."
Galloway was able to joke that perhaps his testicles were "trying to be like basketballs."

In a separate post, Galloway seemed to confirm the issue was caused by testicular torsion by posting a definition of it. He also noted his pain was a 10 out of 10 and he "couldn't breathe without pain."
"Testicular torsion occurs when a testicle rotates, twisting the spermatic cord that brings blood to the scrotum. The reduced blood flow causes sudden and often severe pain and swelling," according to the definition in Galloway's post.
Per Davis Potter of Clemson Insider, a Tigers spokesperson said Galloway is officially considered day-to-day.
Potter noted the 25-year-old isn't expected to play in Saturday's game against Florida State.
Galloway transferred to Clemson this season after spending the 2021-22 campaign at Boston College. He began his college career at the College of Charleston, where he spent four years before going to the Eagles as a graduate transfer.
The South Carolina native has appeared in 21 games for the Tigers this season. He ranks fourth on the team with 10.6 points per game.
Clemson leads the ACC with a 9-1 record in conference play. Its 17-4 overall record ranks second to No. 7 Virginia among ACC teams.
