Battle 4 Atlantis 2022: Men's Teams, Schedule, Live Stream, Bracket, TV Info
It's been a strong start to the 2022-23 season for the Kansas men's basketball team.
The national champions have won all of their first four games, including an impressive victory over Duke at the State Farm Champions Classic on Nov. 15.
Now, the Jayhawks will look to keep it going this week in the Bahamas.
Kansas is among the eight men's teams competing in the 2022 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, which is held each year at Imperial Arena on Paradise Island in Nassau.
Each of the participating programs will play three games (one apiece on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) at an event that has become a Thanksgiving week tradition in recent years.
The Battle 4 Atlantis has been held annually since 2011, with the exception of the 2020 event, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here's everything else you need to know heading into the 2022 edition of the tournament.

Will Kansas Return from the Bahamas Still Undefeated?
2 of 3
Kansas will arrive at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament as the clear favorite to win the event. The Jayhawks are the No. 3 team in the country, and they've been impressive while winning each of their first four games this season.
Junior guard Jalen Wilson has been powering the team to success so far. He's averaging 24.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, and his scoring total has increased each time out. He scored 25 points in the win over Duke, then tallied 33 in a victory against Southern Utah last Friday.
Dating back to last season, the Jayhawks have won 15 consecutive games, with their most recent loss coming on March 1 at TCU. So, it's been an impressive run for the program.
This week's games in the Bahamas will also be the first of the season for Kansas head coach Bill Self. The school imposed a four-game suspension for him following a 2017 NCAA investigation into the program that accused it of recruiting violations.
With Self out, assistant coach Norm Roberts has been serving as acting Kansas head coach, and he's kept the team moving in the right direction. Now, Self will look to pick up where he left off after leading the team to a national title last season.
The Jayhawks will face some strong competition at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, and they'll need to win three games in order to come out on top in the program's second appearance at the event (and first since 2013).
There will be some challenging matchups for Kansas as soon as next month, too. It has a tough road game at Missouri on Dec. 10, as well as a home matchup against No. 11 Indiana on Dec. 17.
For now, though, the Jayhawks continue to roll. And that may not be any different by the time they're coming back from the Bahamas after this week.
Who Are the Other Top Teams to Watch?
3 of 3
Although Kansas is one of the top teams in the country early in the season, there are some other solid programs competing in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. And there's a chance one of them hands the Jayhawks their first loss of the 2022-23 campaign.
No. 22 Tennessee is the only other ranked team competing in the event, and it's possible it will be meeting Kansas in Friday's championship game. However, the Vols have already lost once this season, falling 78-66 to Colorado on Nov. 13.
But Tennessee is still 2-1, having notched lopsided wins over Tennessee Tech and Florida Gulf Coast, and it could begin to build some momentum early in this week's tourney.
The winner of Wednesday's Dayton-Wisconsin game will also be a team to watch in the Bahamas. Either the Flyers or Badgers will advance to face Kansas on Thursday (assuming the Jayhawks beat NC State) and could make it a competitive game.
Dayton is off to a 3-1 start, with its lone loss being a 60-52 defeat at UNLV on Nov. 15. The Flyers bounced back and beat Robert Morris this past Saturday.
Wisconsin has cruised to a 3-0 start courtesy of wins against South Dakota, Stanford and Green Bay. But the Badgers will be facing tougher competition this week, so they'll need to prove they're up to the task.
Sure, it would be a surprise if any of these teams knock off Kansas, but it's early in the season and anything can happen. Any of the other seven teams could get hot and string together a few wins at the Battle 4 Atlantis event.
