Fantasy Football Week 6 Rankings: Updated Overview for All Positions
The 2022 NFL season is moving at ludicrous speed.
Believe it or not, five weeks are already in the books. Fantasy football managers know that all too well.
Those who are off to a hot start are trying everything in their power not to jinx their success. Those who haven't graced the win column often (or—gulp—at all) know they are up against the clock to turn things around.
With Week 6 motoring toward us, let's help you make the most of this opportunity by laying out our rankings and a streaming option at fantasy's four most critical spots.
Quaterback
1 of 4
Top 10
1. Josh Allen, BUF (at KC)
2. Lamar Jackson, BAL (at NYG)
3. Jalen Hurts, PHI (vs. DAL)
4. Patrick Mahomes, KC (vs. BUF)
5. Kyler Murray, ARI (at SEA)
6. Justin Herbert, LAC (vs. DEN)
7. Joe Burrow, CIN (at NO)
8. Tom Brady, TB (at PIT)
9. Geno Smith, SEA (vs. ARI)
10. Aaron Rodgers, GB (vs. NYJ)
Streaming Option: Jimmy Garoppolo, SF (at ATL)
Jimmy G might be getting his groove back.
His offseason was unique, as he underwent shoulder surgery, went unclaimed on the trade market and didn't do team drills at training camp. His season has been just as full of twists and turns, as he was thrust back into his old starting gig once San Francisco lost Trey Lance to a season-ending ankle injury in Week 2.
It's been a slow burn toward fantasy relevance for Garoppolo since, but Sunday saw him set season-highs in passing yards (253) and passing touchdowns (two). If he's getting his rhythm back, he could do damage with the playmakers around him and a favorable matchup against an Atlanta Falcons defense allowing the 11th-most fantasy points to the position, per Yahoo.

Streaming Option: Kenneth Walker III, SEA (vs. ARI)
The Seahawks spent a second-round pick on Walker in April, and they obviously wanted to see some type of return on that investment, which gave him some sleeper potential in fantasy. Realizing said potential proved tricky, though, as former first-round pick Rashaad Penny hit the ground running for Seattle's surprisingly potent offense.
However, with Penny now lost for the season to a fractured fibula, the runway is cleared for Walker to start flying toward that ceiling.
He got the ball rolling on Sunday, as he flashed his explosiveness on a 69-yard touchdown run. With a featured role likely headed his way and a vulnerable Arizona Cardinals defense on the docket, Walker should be the most targeted player on this week's waiver wire.
Wide Receiver

17. Chris Olave, NO (vs. CIN)
18. Christian Kirk, JAX (at IND)
19. Amari Cooper, CLE (vs. NE)
20. Gabe Davis, BUF (at KC)
Streaming Option: Jakobi Meyers, NE (at CLE)
This Patriots' offense doesn't have a ton of juice, so if Meyers is healthy, they'll keep him plenty busy.
He has 27 targets in three games this season. More importantly, he has made those opportunities count. Despite the limited workload, he leads the team in receptions (20) and receiving yards (261). He also moved into a tie for second in scoring Sunday when he snagged his first touchdown catch of the campaign.
While it's tough to tell how much can be expected from this Bailey Zappe-led aerial attack, it's clear that Meyers will factor prominently in the production.
Tight End
4 of 4
Top 10
1. Travis Kelce, KC (vs. BUF)
2. Mark Andrews, BAL (at NYG)
3. George Kittle, SF (at ATL)
4. Tyler Higbee, LAR (vs. CAR)
5. Dallas Goedert, PHI (vs. DAL)
6. Zach Ertz, ARI (at SEA)
7. David Njoku, CLE (vs. NE)
8. Pat Freiermuth, PIT (vs. TB)
9. Gerald Everett, LAC (vs. DEN)
10. Dalton Schultz, DAL (at PHI)
Streaming Option: Will Dissly, SEA (vs. ARI)
If you're in the business of streaming tight ends, then you know how bleak things can get.
So you'll have to forgive us for recommending a player whose numbers don't exactly jump off your screen. His season-highs include four receptions and 43 receiving yards, so keep your expectations tempered here.
Having said that, he does have three touchdown catches in five games, so if you've timed his streaming right, you've usually been rewarded. The Cardinals have allowed the second-most fantasy points to tight ends, per Yahoo, so Dissly should have a decent chance of finding the end zone again this weekend.
