American Century Golf: Patrick Mahomes, Steph Curry Day 3 Tee Times, TV Schedule
Where else can you watch the NBA Finals MVP sink a 97-yard putt for an eagle? That's what Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry did on Saturday, and that's the type of action the American Century Championship can bring.
Curry may be tied for 20th in the annual celebrity golf tournament entering Sunday's third and final round, but he's provided plenty of entertainment at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nev., this weekend. And it's even possible he could climb the leaderboard on the event's last day.
Former MLB pitcher Mark Mulder in the lead as he seeks his fourth victory at the tournament, which uses a modified stableford format awarding points based on results. Mulder, who won the title every year from 2015 to 2017, has 45 points heading into Sunday.

Former tennis player Mardy Fish (the 2020 champion) is three points back of Mulder at 42. Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen and former MLB pitcher Derek Lowe are tied for third at 38, while former NHL center Mike Modano and former NFL quarterback/broadcaster Tony Romo are tied for fifth at 37.
Sunday's third round can be watched live from 2:30-6 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Final-Round Preview
Mark Mulder knows what it takes to win the American Century Championship. The 44-year-old former MLB pitcher hasn't done so since 2017, but he dominated this event for a three-year run, and he's still had some solid showings in recent years.
Now, Mulder is in a great position to end his title drought. He tallied 25 points in Saturday's second round, building off his 20-point showing on Friday and giving him a three-point lead heading into Sunday.
"I feed off the fans and the energy," Mulder said, per the Associated Press. "I’ve been here before. I know that pars aren’t going to win it. It all depends on putting, and I’m putting well."
But if Mulder is going to win the event for a fourth time, he may need to fend off another former champion. Only one participant fared better than Mulder in Saturday's second round: former tennis player Mardy Fish, who scored 27 points after tallying 15 on Friday.
Fish, whose lone victory at the tournament came in 2020, has put himself in a position to contend for another win this year. If he plays like he did Saturday again on Sunday, then he could surge ahead of Mulder to capture the title.
"I’m playing way better than in 2020, so my confidence is good going into tomorrow," Fish said, per AP.
This is golf, though, and anybody can have one bad day on the course. So it's possible that neither Mulder nor Fish will win this year's American Century Championship, especially with some strong competitors close behind them.
One to keep an eye on is Tony Romo, who won the event in both 2018 and 2019. The former NFL quarterback and current broadcaster has been consistent so far this weekend, tallying 18 points on Friday and 19 on Saturday.
Romo may be eight points back of Mulder, but that margin could be made up. And if there's a tie atop the leaderboard, the tournament will go to a playoff. That's what happened last year, when former NBA player/coach Vinny Del Negro defeated former MLB pitcher/broadcaster John Smoltz.
But this tournament is Mulder's to lose. If he can put up a large number of points on Sunday, then it won't matter how the rest of the golfers behind him fare.
