WWE News: Brodus Clay Confirms He Will "Destroy" John Morrison

Over the past week, fans have been speculating about how JoMo will be written off WWE TV.

Many have expressed that Brodus Clay's return could lead to Morrison's demise.

Word is now coming from wrestleheat.com that Clay has confirmed that suspicion.

Brodus Clay — who has been promoted as to returning to the company for nearly a month now — teased attacking Morrison on his Twitter account today. Clay said that he would “destroy” him before the tweet was then deleted shortly afterward. Of course, this is possibly a hint at how the company is likely to going to write Morrison out of the storylines — by having the repackaged Clay returning to the company, attacking Morrison, and effectively writing him off TV.

As we all know, Morrison is expected to leave the WWE after Monday night's Raw Super Show. His contract has run out and there has been no indication that he is or has resigned with WWE. However, if this is how Morrison is written off, it will be a bit disappointing.

That is, simply because it was leaked online prior to it happening by one of the participants.

I realize we live in a world of spoilers and Internet rumors. However, it would be nice to have a little of the mystery back in wrestling.

The WWE did a stellar job with the CM Punk storyline over the summer. Many fans, including myself, were not expecting Punk's promo and most questioned it's authenticity. That was huge for the company.

I guess, in the end, it doesn't matter how Morrison leaves the WWE or how we find out. The real buzz will be when he arrives in TNA, hopefully with Melina in tow. TNA, of course, seem to have got things together and are rumored to have plans for the couple.

I guess we will have to tune in on Monday night to see if the WWE goes forth with this plan or if they change their mind.
