Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount went into full beast mode against the Green Bay Packers defense on Sunday with a spectacular 54-yard touchdown run that is certainly the best run of the 2011 NFL season.
Blount broke seven tackles on his way through the defending Super Bowl champions' defense on his way to the end zone.
At the end of the run, Blount went over to the Packers stands and faked a "Lambeau Leap." He was nice enough to toss the ball to a fan. I personally would have kept the ball after a run like that.
Blount comes between two Packers players twice early on in the run, and neither of the four defenders could bring him down.
At the very end a Packers player comes to tackle Blount inside the 10-yard line but there was no way the Buccaneers running back was going to go down
Blount showed unbelievable strength ripping through the Packers defense. How many guys does it take to bring someone down?
This isn't a bad defense, there are multiple Pro-Bowlers on this Packers defensive unit.
I'll leave you to decide which one is better, but I think Blount has a case for his to be the best.
After the Packers cruised to a 14-0 lead, Blount took matters into his own hands and tore through the Packers defense to get the Bucs back into the game.
