John Tavares, New York Islanders, Heating Up In Fantasy NHL Week 14

In this Week 14 edition of the Fantasy Hot players, sophomore sensation John Tavares of the New York Islanders is starting to show his true potential in this league.

The Phoenix Coyotes boast two players heating up in fantasy circles and you'll want to make sure both are inserted into your lineups as soon as possible. But which Coyotes are gearing up for the kill?

Which other players are starting to make noise this week in fantasy?

Yandle was fantastic for his fantasy owners from the defenseman position. He assisted in all categories. He scored one goal on nine shot attempts. He dished out a whopping six assists and was remarkably plus-5 for the week. Excellent fantasy production from a difficult position.

This Capitals goalie has been on fire recently. He has two wins including one shutout. He has a fantastic save percentage at .983 and an incredible .50 goal against average. Varlamov is currently on a three-game win streak and clearly deserves more playing time so insert him in your lineup as soon as possible.

This Sedin tore it up over the past week, claiming to be one of the top fantasy options in the game. He has three’s across the board. Three goals, three assists and plus-3 for the week. Talk about a hat trick for fantasy owners.

Doan is finally starting to emerge for the Coyotes and his fantasy owners. Doan is trying to get back to his great 2008-2009 form and is starting to get back on the right track. He took a whopping 23 shots on goal and scored five. He also dished out three assists and remained neutral in the plus/minus category.

The sophomore is starting to pick things up for the Islanders. He is filling up the stat categories. He has scored three goals on just nine shot attempts and has also dished out three assists. He is plus-1 for the week.
