A quick look at the upcoming 5 game road trip.

Tue 11/10 at Memphis (Last year 4-0)
Wed 11/11 at Minnesota (Last year 4-0)
Fri 11/13 at New Orleans (Last year 2-2, teams split their home games)
Sat 11/14 at Charlotte (Last year 1-1, lost at Charlotte in OT)
Mon 11/16 at Atlanta (Last year 1-1, lost at ATL)

This will be a good/tough test for the Blazers as they go on their first extended road trip of the season. The good news here is that the opponents are more of the lower tier variety (except ATL...okay New Orleans too), so the schedulers were relatively kind to the Blazers for this early season trek. Charlotte has been tough at home so far (3-0), and New Orleans should be better than their 3-5 record lets on. 4 wins on this trip is possible, but 3 would be acceptable on this long of a trip early in the season. There are some interesting match-ups coming up too. A few that I'm looking forward to....

ZBo vs LA: Zach always has something to prove when he meets up with his old team, and he has played well against us. LaMarcus needs to take this matchup to heart and not let Zach get the best of him.

Chris Paul vs the 3 guard lineup : Can any member of the 3 headed guard starting lineup do anything to slow Paul? So far this season he has not been stopped, averaging 26 pts while shooting 61% from the field. CP3's success has not equaled team success so far though.

Przybilla vs Chandler Round 25 : This battle moves from New Orleans to Charlotte as Chandler swapped teams with Emeka Okafor in the off-season. There have a number of mini incidents involving the two centers over the last couple of year, including this memorable scrum . Will be worth keeping an eye on.

Roy vs Joe Johnson: BRoy will have revenge on the mind in this match-up as the Hawks stole game one in Portland last week. Brandon will try to end the road trip on a good note by getting the best of his fellow underrated shooting guard.
