Was sitting down to watch the Monday Night Football game tonight as Atlanta Falcons were visiting the New Orleans Saints. As the game unfolded I kept hearing all of these names that previously were involved with the Buffalo Bills organization.

As I pondered the fate of these ex-Bills, I realized the irony of what was unfolding. Atlanta's offensive coordinator, Mike Mularkey, was going up against New Orleans' defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams, in the game tonight.

What was so ironic about that? Both of these coaches had previously been head coaches of the Buffalo Bills. That got me to wondering, have two coordinators ever faced off against each other that used to be the head coach for the same pro team?

I tried to google to find the answer, I tried to call that 1-866 number you see ads run on TV to find an answer, and I even pulled out my Magic Black Eight Ball. Nothing, nada, zip. I don't know the answer.

Then I started hearing the names of ex-Bills players: there was Jabrari Greer, Saints cornerback, intercepting a pass and taking it back for a touchdown. There was Jabrari getting beat on a long pass for a touchdown.

Then I heard Anthony Hargrove, ex Bills defensive lineman. Shortly after that, Atlanta brought in Coy Wire, ex-Bills safety, who now plays linebacker for the Falcons.

Found it amazing that so many of the ex-Bills would be involved with teams that seemingly had little to do with the Bills. Looking at the rosters, I discovered that the Saints had just signed ex-Bills safety Pierson Prioleau recently. That one is not really worth a major mention.

Final note was seeing the news that Cleveland Browns owner Randy Lerner was planning to meet with the angry fan base. Ahead of the meeting, Lerner went ahead and dismissed General Manager George Kokinis from his job.

I then wondered how long it would be before Ralph Wilson sits down with angry Bills' fans...
