TJ McConnell Makes Buzzer-Beater for Win vs. New York Knicks
The New York Knicks are having a week to forget.
On Wednesday, a few days after guard Derrick Rose made headlines for unexpectedly missing a game, the Knicks held a 97-96 lead over the Philadelphia 76ers in the closing moments of play.
With 6.8 seconds remaining, New York big man Kristaps Porzingis air-balled a shot from deep, and Philadelphia's Gerald Henderson collected the rebound and sprinted the other way.

Henderson dished it back to forward Ersan Ilyasova, who quickly found point guard TJ McConnell. McConnell dribbled once, spun and drained the buzzer-beater to the delight of the Wells Fargo Center crowd.
Philadelphia center Joel Embiid will likely be glad the evening ended on a positive note, considering earlier events.
Carmelo Anthony, on the other hand, appeared downright disgusted following the bucket:
