Rams Need Quinn Healthy for Playoff Push
Quinn's production has fallen off a cliff since injuries started hampering him in 2015. He was one of the NFL's premier pass-rushers from 2012 to 2014, recording 40 sacks and 13 forced fumbles in 48 games.
The 26-year-old played in only eight games during the 2015 season before being placed on injured reserve with back problems.
Things did not turn around for Quinn with a fresh start in 2016. He had sacks in consecutive games in Weeks 2 and 3, but he missed two games because of a shoulder injury. He then failed to record another sack until Week 11.
Any success the Rams have over the rest of this season will come because their defense is holding opponents down. Quinn has the potential to be their second-best defender behind Aaron Donald, but his health issues could eventually cause him to get pegged as injury-prone.
