Wow. Take a look at that picture. I mean, can you imagine how big that thing is in a real life look? It is huge.
It isn’t a surprise that Jerry Jones had to shake the change from his pockets to build this baby. It should be called the 8th wonder of the world. He spent over a billion dollars on this magnificent stadium.
Why did Jerry Jones spend so much money to replace a stadium that wasn’t near ‘condemned’ level?
Well, you could say many things. It depends on how you see Jerry Jones really.
One could say that Jerry Jones is a monstrosity of the NFL because he fired Tom Landry and took over the Dallas Cowboys. One could also say that he realized that Tom needed to retire because he just had made a 3-13 season.
One could say that Jerry Jones built this stadium to show off his money, and a shrink might say as a substitute for his masculinity. The other side would argue that Texas Stadium was getting old, and Jerry Jones wanted to make a stadium worthy of arguably. the greatest NFL franchise of all time.
However, I say it is because he wanted to win. How is that? Well, let us explain the stadium.
This past Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys did lose to the New York Giants in a game they shouldn’t have. However, they set a record there of 105, 121 people in a regular season game for a stadium.
No stadium, in the United States, has ever had that large number of people unless you go back to the 1950s when the L.A. Rams would consistently have a 100,000 people in a stadium.
He had the size of a Super Bowl crowd in that stadium, and I can guarantee that it will continue.
The Dallas County surrounds not only Dallas, but also Fort Worth, and several other towns.
