The season for Oakland is looking better and better. To begin with Tom Cable has done a great job with  new practice techniques and an earlier practice to get this team used to itself. The team itself is young and very very hungry. I also have noticed that Rod Woodson is spending alot of time at the Raider camp. Could be the friendship he and Nnamndi Asomugha share. Its great to see him there.

Tom Cable began practices earlier since he felt it would pull this team together and they would be familiar with the play calliing. From what I have seen.. the Raiders appear to be very synchronized.

I realize that Derrick Burgess was recently let go but Trevor Scott is young, strong and hungry. Trevor Scott performed extremely well last season so I am content with this move. The Raiders also got a draft pick from the Patriots, so thats another plus.

The Raiders also let Andrew Walter go but he may return since Charlie Frye and Gradowski remain. Heck, Tui made it back. Both Gradowski and Frye are weak in my opinion will be gone soon. Walter has been a Raider and taken the team to the red zone.

Mario Henderson will have his moment to shine as he replaces veteran Khalif Barnes due to an ankle injury. I hope to see Mario Henderson do well at this position as he is also a good player and it may also make Barnes perform at a higher level.

I expect to see alot of sacks this year from the Raiders. The Raiders appear stronger as the team has youth, speed and talent.

One example is the D Mac. Darren McFadden should have value as a fantasy year. Cable has already stated that he will play in a variety of schemes and this is what I had been expecting. McFadden should be stellar.

I am really counting on Cable turning this team completely around as he did last season. The tools are definitely there and I am certain Mr. Davis is content at the teams progress.

On a final note is the decision for Bey over Crabtree. Now do you understand? Crabtree has way to much ego and greed so he will hurt the 49ers. Way to go Al !!! Glad you saw that coming. No more drama in Oakland, there is only a lean mean pounding machine in Oaktown. I predict a 9-7 year and hopefully a playoff berth. Go Raiders !! Go Cableman
