So Who Still Wants Crabtree Now?

To all  those who continue to say the Raiders should have chosen Crabtree. This is for you, and I will take as many shots at him as possible as well as the NFL.

What do all DHB haters have to say now? Our pick is in camp while the "great Michael Crabtree" is seriously thinking about sitting out and re-entering next years draft. Who is going to want him if this transpires?

Lets say the Raiders make it into the playoffs this year and they are all of a sudden attractive to Crabtree. Sorry dude you had your chance but you spurned the Raiders and even smiled when they passed over you in the draft.

He feels that since he would have been picked in the 7 spot that he deserves the same pay as the player taken at that spot.

Michael Crabtree is making this asinine demand without services rendered. The everyday man cant go into work and demand the next weeks check without providing the work required, right?

So how does this kid think he is entitled to undeserved money. So you put up good numbers in college. Hello Mcfly, the great college player does not always pan out in the NFL. Do we need examples? How about 2 time Heisman trophy winner Archie Griffin, Andre Ware, throw in your own washouts.

At what point does the NFL wake up and realize that something needs to be done? Before this really gets out of hand. I do not think that it is fair that an unproven rookie makes more than the veteran who has proved himself.

The owners and NFL need to start talking about a rookie salary cap! I realize that of the major sports, football players normally end their careers with some form of physical ailment, and that on any play it could be their last.

The kid has not played one down of professional football and has turned into the biggest diva that I can remember. Crabtree is expecting money to be given to him from his hype.

I cant wait to hear the media report this story! Will BSPN turn on him after annointing him as the second coming of Jerry Rice? They should be all over this like a cat after catnip or a prostitute trying to get the trick on a slow night.

Crabtree really needs to wake up and realize that he is not hurting anyone but himself with his pay demands. He is just a piece of the puzzle not the missing link.

You may ask yourself, that if the writer is a Raider fan then why does he care about another teams draft pick. Its because this crybaby was adimate about not being picked by the Raiders but was ok about being selected by the 49ers.

He is a product of the system he was from. If the spread is so great why isnt it ran in the NFL? Could it do with the talent level? The chance to put up video game stats against Baylor or whatever creampuff team is on Texas Techs schedule or any team that runs the spread offense.

I wonder if this attitude was in Mel Kiper or Mike Mayocks scouting report. The kid is starting out as a cancer that the smartest of GMs are trying to avoid now.

If he does carry out this threat of sitting out this season, he could work out with Vick, Maurice Clarett, Plaxico, and Travis Henry. That is before his shift at the local Krogers starts.

Before the draft I wrote an article against picking Crabtree with the Raiders first pick, I know that Heyward-Bey is still a work in process, but at least he is signed and in camp making an effort to improve.

You can belittle DHB all you want, why I cant understand, but cant you people wait till the end of this season or next before passing judgement on Darrius? And continuing to complain about him is not going to change the fact that he is a Raider and Crabtree is not.

Here's a thought. He is already on Madden 10, what are the makers of the game going to do if he doesnt play this year and does re-enter the draft. What about all the jerseys they have started selling with his name on them?
